Width is the wall the piece needs; depth is how far it comes into the room; height is to the top of the back cushions or the headboard. What the depth means for a 10 ft deep room
KIVIK and UPPLAND are 36 to 37 in deep, which in a 10 ft (120 in) deep room leaves a 30 in walkway after a 16 in gap, a 20 in coffee table and an 18 in TV stand. STOCKHOLM 2025 at 40 1/2 in deep takes 4 in off that walkway. In a 12 ft room all of them leave 50 in or more. All of them ship flat, so the door question is a box, not a sofa.
IKEA bed frames
The size that matters is the frame's outside width and length, not the mattress. A queen mattress is 60 x 80 in; the queen frames below are 62 to 66 in wide and 82 to 95 in long. A storage headboard (BRIMNES) adds a foot of length.
